Simpsons Malt


Simpsons Malt is a 155-year-old business run by the sixth generation of the Simpsons family. It produces the finest quality malt for the leading beer and whisky brands around the world.

MMC has been working with Simpsons Malt since December 2015. Our partnership began when Tim Murphy of Courage Creative recommend we come on board to execute a marketing strategy that would bring the company’s new brand to life.

When we came on board, Simpsons Malt was already known around the world for the exceptional quality of its malt. Our job is to bring that passion to life through marketing materials and a digital marketing strategy to help grow the company’s international market share.

The Work

MMC functions as Simpson Malt’s outsourced marketing department.

First, we worked with the company’s executive team to put a full marketing strategy in place that would establish Simpsons Malt as the first name in quality among established and up-and-coming brewers.

We identified that the exceptional taste and flavour of Simpsons Malt’s products was the one message that needed to be front and foremost. The first step in bringing this to life was revamping their website so it brought this message to life.

Alongside the launch of the website, our extended team was busy working on Simpsons Malt’s presence at a giant industry event in Germany. This was the perfect chance for the company to chew the malt with brewers and launch their new brand to the industry. The featured image shows the exhibition stand that was produced for the event.

We were also helping to launch a global distributor network through equipping distributors with translated marketing materials from South Korean, to Spanish, Italian and Slovakian.

The Results

Every month visitors and leads through the website are increasing due to the improved navigation, digital structure and content. The global distributors are performing well with sales increasing and work is underway to increase our presence and visibility at events around the world.
