Our survey methodologies

We always start with a full briefing session whether we visit you in person or online. Our aim is to understand who we’re working with, what makes you tick and what’s most important to you and your clients.

We then get to work designing your survey, advising on questionnaire length, types of survey, style of questions - from Likert scales to multiple choice, sliding scales to open text boxes - we’ll keep you right.

We advise on who to target and how. You may have a list of stakeholders or customers or could be looking to test a concept with a wider panel of consumers or residents, we can purchase data on your behalf through our trusted panel partner.

If there’s an opportunity to capture data via street interviews, MMC will coordinate that too. We always advise on the best data capture approach.

Once the audience is defined and survey designed, we can help you issue the survey to your own database or supply you with a marketing toolkit - including email wording, social media posts - to make sure the process delivers the numbers you need.

You are then kept fully up to date on progress once the survey has been launched.

What will a market research report look like?

Survey reports are presented in an engaging PowerPoint report, providing an overview at an overall level, alongside detailed breakdowns for the demographics that matter most, drawing attention to any statistically significant variations.

It provides an executive summary and our experts always make recommendations.
